Beverly Taylor a special lady!

On March 15 my mother-in-law Beverly Jean Bushnell Taylor passed away. We knew it was coming and as many others have said when it comes it certainly is harder than you think it will be. I have spent a lot of time reflecting on my beliefs and my feelings for my mother in law. I am so grateful for her. She is the mother of my sweet husband and as I have watched him for these past couple of weeks and marveled at his compassion and love for his family I have to wonder how much of that came from his mother. I don't think I recognized how compassionate she was until now! I have seen my husband in tears which in itself doesn't happen very often, but more than that I have seen him reaching out to others and comforting them. I think the hardest thing for all of us was when Ray was saying the opening prayer and he was choked with emotion. He could hardly speak! Then his twin brother Ron gave the dedicatory prayer and same thing, could hardly say any words for the emotion he felt. What a great tribute they gave to their mother! All of the children were in attendance at the funeral including from oldest to youngest: Ellen Taylor Zuege, Raymond Glen Taylor, Ronald Blair Taylor, Marta Lynn Taylor Johnson, Barbara Ann Taylor Fee, Laureen Taylor, John Delbert Taylor, Hazel Marie Taylor Hardisty. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and one great great grandchild was in attendance. Beverly has 8 children, 29 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. What a legacy!
